My way of saving breeds at risk:

My holding is not a "farm". The breeding groups are placed at several locations, some at my home in Switzerland, some in other countries, at the moment especially in Ukraine. My target is to keep rescue groups of breeds in danger of extinction. In collaboration with other farmers the breeds should get stabilized and then privatized again (as done e.g. with Karakachan horses in Bulgaria).
