Membership of Societies / Quality labels: This spring I became President of "HEIMDAL - SAVE ORGANIZATION DENMARK", which is an umbrella organization for small associations working with in situ conservation of the biodiversity in domestic animals and plants. We seek international partners, because in Denmark it is very diffecult to save diversity at all. Most of our country is affected by the large sum of cultivated area (66 %), and the responsibility for compliance with the Convention of Biological Diversity is split between several ministries, which often results in the care of special interests instead of safeguarding the biological diversity. :(
